Docherty, Margaret Irene – after a long life, our beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Thursday, December 08, 2011 at Parkview Nursing Home, Stouffville at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, daughter Alison Clegg and siblings Dorothy Lawrie and George Mason. Loving mother of Robert (Liz) and Laureen Scott (Jeff). Dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Adam, Cole, Josh, Brittany, Taylor and Dustin. She will be sadly missed by all her family. A sincere thank you to the staff at Parkview for their exceptional care of our mother over the many years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday, December 14th from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
