With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Manuel De Sousa at Pinegrove Lodge while surrounded by his family on Monday, December 17, 2018; at the age of 86. Beloved husband to Lidia De Sousa for 52 years. Loving father of Maria (Robert) and reunited with his late son John De Sousa. Cherished grandfather to Jacob, Sam and Sarah and dear brother to Adelia. Manuel was a hard working and devoted family man. He enjoyed spending time following current events on the news and watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs. However, he was happiest when he was socializing with friends and family. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by those around him. A Funeral Mass will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. Padre Pio Church ( 5500 Major Mackenzie Drive W., Kleinburg) with visitation commencing at the church at 8:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
