Luigi Taiariol

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 24th, 2011 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Maria for 64 years and loving father of Bruno (Ursula) and Nancy (Fernando Rocco). Cherished Nonno of Paul (Christine), Jennifer (Rob), Vincent and Andrew and proud new great-grandfather of Alexander. He is predeceased by his brother Giovanni and sisters Maria, Teresa and Lina. He is survived by his brother Giacomo and sisters Elena and Ida in Italy and Belgium. The family wishes to acknowledge the devoted and loving care given to him by the staff (2A) at Leisureworld Norfinch for the past 1 and a half years.


Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Wednesday December 28th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church, on Thursday December 29th 2011 at 11am. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery on Jane St in Concord. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
