September 4, 1936 – December 4, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Luigi “Gino” on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Gino was a devoted brother to Michele and a loving brother-in-law to Maria. He was the cherished uncle to Antonietta, Anna (Dave), Enzo (Melanie), and Robert (Tanya), and a proud great-uncle to Onorio, Rosella (Michael), Victoria, Giulia, Matteo, Sofia, and Isaac. His presence blessed the lives of all who knew him, and the memories he leaves behind will be forever treasured. He has now been reunited with his loving parents, Antonio and Filomena, and his beloved nephew Antonio “Tony”.
Known affectionately as Gino, he was an extraordinarily hardworking and humble man. Family was always at the heart of everything he did. He stood faithfully by their side throughout his life, and they lovingly stood by his.
Gino was immensely proud to be a Canadian immigrant. Coming from Italy to begin a new life in Canada, he embraced every challenge with determination and gratitude. He built a life rooted in dedication and family, and he took great joy in watching his loved ones grow around him, knowing that the sacrifices made along the way had helped create a strong and thriving family. Luigi will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
