Luigi "Gigi" Buna
On February 6, 2025 Luigi (Gigi) Buna passed away peacefully at the age of 90.
Gigi is reunited in heaven with his parents, Emilio and Gina, and his nephew, Franco. He is survived by his sister, Maria (Mario) and niece, Ivana Spernicelli.
Gigi was born in San Quirino, Pordenone, Italy and came to Canada in the late 1950's and began his career as a carpenter. He enjoyed playing cards, trap shooting, and playing bocce with his fellow paesani.
The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Leonardo Gambin for their kind and compassionate care.
