Peacefully passed away with family by her side on January 7, 2016 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her loving husband Carmine. Devoted mother of Elvira (Luke Gousopoulos) and Agostino (Lucy). Cherished Nonna to Carmen, Christina, Teddy and Andrew. She will be missed by her sister Anna (Marcello) and her two nieces, Enrica (Tom) and Anna-Julia (Karl).
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Monday, from 6-9p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 9:30a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region would be greatly appreciated by the family.
