Lucia Yolanda Alberico (nee DeAngelis)

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Humber River Hospital on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Francesco Alberico, loving mother to Anna (Joe) and grandmother to her much loved grandson Brian (Simona). She will be greatly missed by her brother Armando, her nieces, nephews and her extended family and many friends in Canada, the USA and Italy. The family extends their gratitude to her caregivers from Senior Homecare by Angels for their loving care and attention, to the staff at Humber River Hospital for their compassion in her last hours and the many nurses from Central LHIN and the palliative care team at Sinai Health System. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Woodbridge Chapel”, 4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge, on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jane Frances Parish, 2747 Jane St., Toronto on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Lucia’s memory.
