Loreta Alati

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Loreta, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at 94. Peace came to her with her family by her side, after her arduous journey. She is predeceased by her husband, Domenico, and her parents Santo, and Restituta, brothers Loreto, Giacomo, Rocco, sisters Theresa, Nilda, Anna, Velia.

The ache of her passing is enormously felt by her three sons, Tony, John, Paul(Clara), her cherished grandchildren, Dominic and Enrica. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Ninetta, sister-in-law, Maria, Tutina, and many nieces and nephews.

Throughout her life, her faith was a driving force. She was not one to merely speak of her beliefs; she lived them daily. Mom embraced the principles of love, compassion and service, and her actions were a testament to the depth of her spirituality. As a mother and grandmother, she embraced the role with abundant love and devotion. Her home was a sanctuary for family and friends, and all were welcome for a delicious homemade meal that will forever be cherished and missed.

Rest in peace, dear mother, forever in our hearts.
Our endless gratitude to our Zia Maria, Zia Ninetta, Zia Tutina and all her friends for being an incredible source of strength and support during the last 3 years.
