Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, March 9, 2012, a week shy of her 96th birthday. Lina is reunited with her beloved husband, Aldo. Loving mother of Adua (Rito Burin), Marzia (Pietro Taus), John (Nancy), Rico (Anna). Caring nonna of Diana (Dave), Suzanna (Rob), Roberto (Doris), Lenny (Giovanna), Kim (Renaldo), Jennifer, Kelly, Michael, Christina, Caterina, and the late Anthony, and bis-nonna of Stephen and Marcus, Nicole, Massimo, Tyson and Taya, Isabella and Matteo, and Melissa.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, 80 Shoreham Drive, Toronto, on Monday, March 12th, 2012 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
