Lilian Bearman

Passed away in her home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Mom lived 92 wonderful years. She was a fighter to the end and strongly battled several illnesses in her later years. She can now join her loving husband Bert and enjoy her much deserved rest. Loving mother of Robert and James of Mississauga and Patricia and her husband Gary Fowler of Etobicoke. Dear Grandmother of Jason and his fiancée Miranda and Daniel and his girlfriend Sarah. Predeceased by her younger brothers, Albert, George, Oscar and Leonard. Lilian served three years in the British Air Force during the war. Mom came to Canada in 1949 and met her husband Bert in Toronto. She always loved the English climate and strongly disliked our Canadian winters. She always dreamed of England and traveled back as often as she could see family and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday from 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Lilian’s life will be held at in the chapel on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:30p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the CNIB or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
