Passed away peacefully on October 3, 2012 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 56 years to Win. Loving father to Karen (John), Michael (Mary Kae), and Sheelagh (Gary). Proud grandfather to Kali, Heather, Meg, Ross, Robbie, Craig, and Shyla. Leslie graduated in 1955 from Aberdeen University. He then served in the R.A.F. in Germany for 3 years. Upon leaving service he joined a family practice in Loughborough. In August of 1969, Leslie and the family immigrated to Canada to practice medicine at B.E.M.G. where he worked until retirement in 1999. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street S. (Hwy 10) Brampton on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. A Celebration of Leslie’s life will follow in the chapel.
