Lawrence Begley

LAURENCE Thomas Begley (1919-2011) passed quietly on April 6th with his family around him at Extendicare Brampton. Survived by his loving wife Pamela, son Chris (Karen) daughters Melissa (Brian) and Jennifer (Ken) and four beautiful granddaughters Amanda, Christina, Diana and Samantha and one little great granddaughter Abigail. Laurence immigrated to Canada from England at the age of 14. He joined the RCAF in 1941 and served as a tail gunner and saw action over Germany. He married in 1952 and settled in Brampton where he started Begley Overhead Doors. An active man who loved the sea and spent several years sailing in foreign waters. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. A visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main St S (Hwy 10), Brampton on Saturday April 9th at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
