Kyle Mac Aulay

Kyle MacAulay, 48, of Toronto Ontario, was tragically and unexpectedly lost on October 3rd, 2025.

Kyle was born in Toronto in 1977 to Hanna and Chester, what an excitement for his big sister Kim. Kyle was well known in the Swansea community where he made many life long friends. Many of his peers nicknamed him “Gretzky” as he was a fantastic hockey player. His dad Chester proudly coached Kyle’s team when he was a little boy.

He was educated at St Pius elementary and continued his education at Michael Power. He worked hard to support his family as an employee but also was a proud business owner himself for his company “MacAulay Transportation”.

In 1995 Kyle & Melissa welcomed their first daughter Kayla. On June 19, 2004, he married Jennifer and they had 2 children, Kiarra and Koltin. Jen came with 3 of her own children Shauna, Devin and Brianna-Lee whom he took on and loved as much as the rest. Kyle was a devoted and loving father to them all, they will dearly miss him and the life lessons he imparted to them. Among them was to always work hard for your family and never let the absence of others steal your peace. Kyle was also the best Papa to Brooklynn, Dawson, Oaklee and Kya, they were his entire world. He was a proud father of 6 children and grandfather to 4 amazing grandchildren who meant the world to him. Whether it was cheering at the rink, watching soccer from the sidelines, or smiling through dance recitals, he never missed a chance to show his love and pride. He was so proud of Shauna for her strength, love, and devotion to family. Kayla’s strength, caring heart and determination always made him smile. Devin’s drive and accomplishments filled him with pride. Brianna’s kindness and independence reminded him of the best parts of himself. Kiarra’s creativity and resilience inspired him daily, and Koltin’s big heart and passion for life brought endless joy.

Kyle had an immense love of hockey, golf, jerseys and his growing hockey card & nike shoe collection. However, as seen above, nothing was more important to Kyle than family.

Kyle was preceded in death by his father Chester, who passed in 2023, and is survived by his mother Hanna, sister Kim, nephew Lukas, wife Jen, his 6 children & 4 grandchildren.

Kyle’s unexpected passing comes as a shock to his family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. He lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead him and was taken far too soon. He will be remembered for her cheerful spirit, compassion, selflessness and the great love he had for his family.

With respect of Kyles wishes there will be no viewing or funeral. In the near future, family and friends will receive information regarding the celebration of life that will be held at a location in Toronto/Etobicoke.
