With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Kosta Kakridonis. 

Kosta passed away peacefully at the age of 79, surrounded by his family at Mount Sinai Hospital. Beloved husband of 46 years to Voula Kakridonis, dearest father of George (Kreuza) and Nadia (Jonathan), and devoted grandfather of Angelina and Thanos. He was the loving son of the late George and Konstantina Kakridonis and will be forever missed by his sister Effie (Niko).

Born in Vlachopoulo, Messinias on January 7, 1947, Kosta immigrated to Canada in the early 1970’s seeking a better life. He persevered when faced with the challenges of settling in a new country and built a beautiful life for him and his family.

Kosta was an entrepreneurial spirit whose drive and work ethic shaped both his career and the lives of those around him. A devoted family man, he led with love, generosity, and an unwavering commitment for those he cared about most. He found great joy in bringing people together, whether hosting gatherings or sharing time with friends and loved ones. Known for his energy and enthusiasm, he loved socializing – often found riding his bike, paying visits to people around the neighborhood he lived in. His warmth, kindness, and vibrant social nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His son and daughter were his pride and joy; his grandchildren always felt his adoration.

Though he may be gone, Kosta’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Kosta will be repatriated to his home town of Vlahopoulo in Messinia.
