Klaas Templeman, a resident of Faith Manor, Holland Christian Homes, Brampton, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on 23 August 2011. Beloved husband of the late Nelly Templeman-Bos, loving father of Irene (Barry) and Pamela (Doug), and a much adored Opa to Brendan and Gerrit. Klaas was born in Zwolle, The Netherlands, and emigrated to Canada with his bride Nelly, in 1951. Klaas was a man who loved a good joke and funny songs and was passionate about his politics and opinions. He will be missed by his extended family (Leen and Rie, Willard and Tine, Jeanne and Pete, and Annie Tempelman-Froom) and a wide circle of friends. Klaas is also survived by his brother Gerrit (Marjan), Tilburg, the Netherlands, and many nephews and nieces. Family and friends may be received at the Ward Funeral Home, “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main St S (Hwy 10)Brampton on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Holland Christian Homes, Heritage Hall.
