Kenneth Doherty

Passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2010 in his 93rd year at Sunrise Senior Living in Oakville. Dearly missed by his wife of 66 years, Alma (Lorrie). Loving father to Robin (Dan) Benson and Joffre (deceased). Proud and loving grandfather to Andrew, Jen and Matthew. Dear brother of Jack (deceased) and his wife Evelyn and brother–in-law to Maxine and her husband Cecil (deceased). Ken will be affectionately remembered by all his extended family and friends for his kindness, sense of humour and ability to make people feel very special.

Ken adored his daughter and her family as they did him. He was a kind hearted gentleman who endeared himself to everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives he touched.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Oakville Chapel”, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30th, 2010 in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. to be immediately followed by a reception at Ward Funeral Home. Interment 1:30 p.m. at Glendale Memorial Gardens (Albion Road at Hwy 27, Toronto)
