DAVEY, Katharine “Kay” (nee Mulligan)

Peacefully on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 at the age of 85. Longtime resident of Brampton, member of the Brampton Ladies Auxiliary for the Legion for over 60 years. Predeceased by her husband Earl and son Ron. Loving mother of Jerry, Jim and his wife Donna, and Jeff. Devoted grandmother of Alanna, Matt, Angela, Lisa, Sarah, Sheryl, Russell, Shannon, Caitlin, Allison, and great grandmother of Vivien, Aidan, Camden and Nicholas. Survived by her sisters Gloria Vanderhart and Jean Davey. Predeceased by her siblings Stan, Helen and Evelyn. Kay will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and special friends Muriel Cummings and Dorothy Heidbuurt. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main Street South, (Hwy 10) Brampton on Friday from 11-12noon followed by a service in the Chapel at 12noon. Interment Brampton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brampton and Area Community Fund or Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
