Sommerfeld, Karoline (nee Ziebart)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10th, 2012 at Extendicare Brampton in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Edmund Lorenz and Raimund Paul Sommerfeld. Cherished daughter of the late Berta and Adolf Ziebart, and sister of the late Maria, Natalie, Frieda, and Otto. Dear mother of the late Edwin Lorenz. Karoline will be sadly missed by sisters Sophie and Leni, daughter-in-law Ilse Lorenz, granddaughters Silvia (Mike) and Cindy (Todd), and great-grandchildren Tyler, Michael, Braedon and Mark. A private family service will take place on Wednesday February 15th, 2012. Karoline holds a special place in all our hearts and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to convey their sincere appreciation to the staff of Extendicare Brampton for the wonderful care given to Karoline throughout her stay. Special thanks to the nurses of the Sommerville Ward where Karoline had been one of the original residents.
