Karen Smith

SMITH, Karen Irene –Passed away peacefully at age 62 at Humber River Regional Hospital on October 28th, 2011 with family and friends by her side. Karen, a retired longtime employee of Bell Canada was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Muriel Smith of Toronto. Karen is survived by her sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Bryan McConaghie, her 3 nieces and their families, Lisa Bourdeau (Stephen), Sheri McConaghie and Karyn McConaghie-Butt (Mitchell, Devin & Connor), and her partner Dave Boasie. Karen will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members, including her longtime friend Neil Johnson. We welcome friends and family to join us in a memorial service in the chapel of Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton, 905-451-2124, at 11am on Tuesday November 1st, 2011. Following the service, interment will take place at Assumption Catholic Cemetery at 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga.
