Kahlani Appiah

With profound love and sadness, we announce the passing of Kahlani, who left this world peacefully on December 26, surrounded by the warmth and comfort of her family.

From the very beginning of life, Kahlani faced significant challenges yet none of those challenges ever defined her. She was defined by her radiant joy, her beautiful spirit and the happiness she brought to everyone who knew her. She loved her life deeply and lived it with a smile.

Kahlani was a cherished student at Beverley School, where she was adored by staff and fellow students alike. She also held a special place in the hearts of the many caring professionals at SickKids.

Above all, Kahlani was deeply loved by her family. Her parents Tim and Sarah were her constant source of strength and comfort and whom she loved endlessly in return. Her younger sister Anyiah will truly miss her sisters presence. She was adored by many of her extended family and her love, laughter and spirt will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
