Judith Droppo

Judith Jean Droppo, unexpectedly passed away at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at the age of 82.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years, Gerald Droppo. Loving and devoted mother to Nora Scrutton (Stephen) and Ian Droppo and cherished grandmother to Tim and Emily Droppo. Loved sister of Ruth Walden (Evan), Toronto, Ontario and the late Ross Wells, London, Ontario. Special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her many family and friends. Judith was pre-deceased by her parents George and Jessie Wells (Long).

Born in Simcoe, Ontario on August 3, 1930, Judith graduated from the Stratford Collegiate Institute and the Wells Academy Business College in Stratford, Ontario.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, Ontario. To celebrate Judith’s life, a funeral service will be on Saturday, December 15th at 11:00 am, St. John’s United Church, 262 Randall Street, Oakville, Ontario.
