Judith Belder

Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 25, 2023, Brampton, ON at the age of 100.

Born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on February 22, 1923.

Beloved wife of the late Jacob (Jack) Belder (1976).

Loving mother to Ellie (Jerry), Judy (Paul), Eddie (Bonnie) and John (Jenny).

Wonderful Oma to Jason (Barb), Stuart, Suzanne (Matt), Kenneth, Bryan, Robert (Lesley), Michael (Alison), Trevor (Shawna), Melanie, Jamie (Melissa), Jake (Robin), Lisa (Jeremy), Mark (Amy), Carolyn (John).

A proud Great-Oma to 24 great-grandchildren.

Remembered by her sister-in-law Nela & her husband, Piet, and many nieces and nephews in Canada and The Netherlands.

Mom, Oma was known for her quiet, steadfast faith which sustained her through her one hundred years, especially through the challenges of life. Even through these challenges she flourished, and through her steadfast faith, we also flourished. We are so grateful for her unconditional love to all of us. She showed us and taught us how to live, and we gratefully carry on this legacy she left us. Our family is strong because of her.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Holland Christian Homes Grace Manor 3 South for the wonderful compassionate care for Mom over the last four years and especially during her final days.

Family and friends are welcome to to join in prayer at the Ward Funeral Home "Weston Chapel" 2035 Weston Road, Toronto on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at 11:30am followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
