FRANCIS, Joyce Barbara

Passed away peacefully Jan, 26 2018 in her 93rd year. She is survived by her 3 sons Murray (Bev) of Belleville, Keith (Lynn) of Kitchener and David (Barb) of Wyevale, three grandsons (Michael Fort St John), Chris (Crystal) (Waterloo) and Peter (Toronto) and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was born in Toronto, the youngest of three, predeceased by Winnie (Cecil - deceased) and Norman (Joy – deceased) with a sense of adventure. As a teenager, she and a girlfriend cycled from Toronto to Windsor one summer vacation and she also took a trip by herself down to Texas via train. Mid-life saw Joyce learning to drive, getting a car and taking up golfing. At Joyce’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the gravesite. The family wishes to send thanks to many friends for their help and support in Joyce’s last few years. It made a difference and she was, and we are very grateful for all the kindness.
