Joseph Carbone

Joseph Carbone was born on July 31, 1948, in Rende, Italy and immigrated to Canada at the age of 10, arriving in North America aboard the MS Saturnia. He settled in Toronto with his parents, Francesco and Adelina Carbone, and grew up alongside his siblings Tony, Olga, and Fausto, building the strong family values that would guide him throughout his life.

At just 18 years old, Joseph began his career with Canada Post, where he dedicated 37 years of loyal service before retiring. Known for his strong work ethic and reliability, he took great pride in providing for his family.

Joseph was a loving and devoted father to his four children—Jennifer, Lisa, Joe Jr., and Adam—and a loving stepfather to Joey and Sabrina. In the early 1990s, he met his life partner, Vanina, with whom he shared over 30 beautiful years filled with love, companionship, and cherished memories.

Nothing brought Joseph more joy than his seven beloved grandchildren: Lina, Ethan, Luca and Ben, Joey, Genevieve, and Everly. He adored them deeply and took immense pride in each of them.

Joseph will be remembered as an extremely loyal, loving, and kind man who valued family, friendship, and community. He had many friends and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Joseph passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on December 13, 2025, at the age of 77.
