Joseph Paul Azzopardi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Paul Azzopardi on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. 
Born on July 29, 1936, Joe was 87 years old. 

Joe was predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Mary, brother Vincent, brother David, and sister-in-law Linda. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pauline, brother Fred, sister-in-law Margaret and sister-in-law Linda. He will be deeply missed by his son Keith, daughter-in-law Laura, and grandchildren Domenic, Matthew and Cristina. Joe is also survived by his many nieces and nephews as well as their families. Joe will be forever loved and forever remembered. 

Joe grew up in Sliema, Malta, where he enjoyed soccer, and time with his many friends. Joe had a passion for war history, sports, woodworking, gardening, and so much more. Joe's greatest joy was becoming a Nanu and spending time with his three grandchildren. Joe leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth as he now rests peacefully. All are welcome to gather at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, on Monday April 15, 2024, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 10:30am, burial to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, 1570 Royal York Road, Etobicoke.
