It is with love and fond memories that the family announces the passing of John after a courageous battle he succumbed to on Thursday, July 12, 2012.
Cherished husband and buddy of Donna for 40 years. Devoted dad of Dave (Lydia Ferreira) and Mike. Proud grandpa of Kyle and Even. Loving brother of Christine MacDonald (late Paul Gliddon, late Bill MacDonald), Lyndsey Oster (Bruce Oster), Steve (Cathy) and Martha Mckie. Dearly loved son of the late Roy and Norma Frances (nee Hall). John will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and his friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Queensway Baptist Church, 950 Islington Ave (North of Queensway) on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11a.m. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
