John Sabourin

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we are sharing the news that John "Snappy" Sabourin passed away on Monday, August 27th 2018.

For years, John has been a staple in the entertainment industry. He brought a special blend of kindness, humour and a confident style of leadership to everything he touched. As one of the hardest working individuals on any job, he led and inspired all those who had the opportunity to work with him. To say that he will be missed does not do justice the magnitude of the loss that we've heard by so many people and read online.

John will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jennifer Georgopoulos, his mother Janet Sabourin, his father the late Rene Sabourin, sister Jacqui ( Kevin), brothers Michael ( Fiona), David ( Marikka) and Christopher, and especially by his beautiful daughter Blake who we all cherish and love so much.

John and Jennie have known and cared for each other for over a decade and their love took many forms over those years. In the last few years they were able to become a family and build a dream life, including building an amazing home together. Their love was pure, unconditional and unwavering. Together they were safe and happy even in the simplest activities. John was an incredible father to Blake who adored him. We will not let her forget him. Jen and John were in the process of trying to grow their family even bigger. Jen was so proud of John, she knows how loved by all he was and she knows he knew that too. Jen only ever felt love and kindness from John and she will love him back forever.

A service for family and friends will be held in his memory at 3pm on Thursday, September 6th 2018 at the Leaside United Church - 822 Millwood Rd., Toronto
All our welcome to join the family in a Celebration of John’s Life at 7PM at the Opera House Concert Hall - 735 Queen St. East., Toronto
In lieu of flowers, an educational trust fund has been set up to help for John's 4 year old daughter Blake.
