PRANKARD, John Henry

Peacefully at Grace Manor on November 24, 2018 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Barbara for 60 years. Beloved father of Janey (Alan) Walker, Marty (Krista), Cindy (William) Bennett and Darrin (Veronica). Dear brother of Bill (Gwen) and Bob (Ruth). Cherished grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. John served Brampton for 33 years on the Brampton Fire Department. He was known as Brampton’s funny man, entertaining children’s church groups and the community with ventriloquism and puppets. He was an active member of Kennedy Road Tabernacle Children’s ministry and choir, performing and acting in many Christmas and Easter productions. He will be missed.

Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Friday November 30, 2018 from 6-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on December 1, 2018 at Kennedy Road Tabernacle, 141 Kennedy Road North at 11am.
