Interment
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Lyras, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.
John shared a beautiful and enduring love story with his devoted wife, Georgina—a bond built on love, respect, and unwavering partnership.
He was the proud and loving father of his cherished daughter, Sofia, who was the light of his life. John was the beloved son of Efthimios and Ioanna, and a dear brother to Mary (Ezio) and Costa.
John will be remembered for his loving, caring, and devoted nature. A hardworking man with a generous spirit, he touched the lives of many through his kindness and dedication to his family and friends.
He had a passion for life and enjoyed many simple pleasures. John was a loyal fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, found joy in staying active at the gym, and was a true food enthusiast who loved exploring new cuisines. He also had a deep love for travel, always embracing new experiences and cultures.
Above all, John adored his precious Sofia, and his love for her was immeasurable. His strong faith in God and in His word guided his life, giving him strength, purpose, and compassion.
John’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
