John Joseph Kollar

John was born and raised with his sister Mary in Toronto, their parents immigrated from Hungary. His education focused on Chemistry and Finance and he obtained a career in Sales. Travelling extensively both here and abroad John experienced many different places and their cuisine. Later in his work years John drove for transhelp to provide shuttle service for people in need. In his free time over his years John focused on his passion for gliding. He achieved many milestones in both work and sport. Along with his passion for soaring, John had a philanthropic focus on three charities, Iam Mental Health (formerly Schizophrenia Society of Canada) United Way and Care Canada. John loved sharing good company and enjoyed sharing good food and drinks. All who have had the pleasure of spending time with John and sharing in his generosity have truly experienced a pleasurable meal and conversation...he will be missed. John has passed his knowledge of finances onto his family for years and we are all truly blessed. 

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to IAM Mental Health or CARE Canada.
