Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Loved husband of the late Margaret Hern. Dear brother of Mary Brooks, Helen Heakes, Maureen Smith (James), Bernadette Swift (James). Predeceased by brothers Edward, Joseph and Gerard (survived by wife Josephine) and by sister Agnes Nevins (survived by husband Wilfred). He will be missed by his many beloved nieces and nephews and by his sister-in-law Evelyn Hern.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday from 9:30am until time of funeral mass at 11am at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 49 George Street, Weston. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
