Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Brampton Civic Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Isabelle. Cherished father to William (Sharon), James (Lauren), and Carol-Ann (Neil). Will be dearly missed by companion of many years June McClure. Proud Papa to seven grandchildren. John was an avid Celtic Football Club fan. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10) on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. John’s funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1pm in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
