John "Ed" Silcox

Silcox, John Edwin “Ed” (retired Math teacher at Sir Sandford Fleming) – Peacefully on October 10th, 2012 at West Park LTC in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Norma Isabel Silcox for 66 years. Much loved father of Pamela (Harry Erlichman), Terrence (Sharon), Penelope (Dr. Joseph Castrodale), and John (Diana). Dear grandfather of Sarah (Abraham), Jonathan (Caroline), Jeremy (Megan), Steven (Melissa), Nathan, David, Paul, Elise, Benjamin (Christy), Kaitlyn and Kimberly. Great-grandfather of Noah, Cecilia and Cali. The family is grateful to the staff of West Park for the kindness and care shown to Ed and Norma over the years. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, October 18th, 2012 from 1:30 until time of the Memorial Service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Donations to Humber Community Seniors’ Services would be appreciated.
