John Arthur Douglas
Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday October 1, 2014 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Maria for 58 years. Cherished father of Diana, and Jeffrey(Katherine). Devoted Grampie to Elizabeth and Erin Donnelly and Sean and Victoria Douglas. Survived by his sister Mary Kidd(Tom Berhle). Predeceased by brothers Donald and Robert. John was a long time member of the Brampton Golf Club and Brampton Curling Club. At John’s request, cremation has taken place.
A reception in celebration of his life will be held at the Brampton Golf Club, 7700 Kennedy Road, on Tuesday, October 7 from 4:30 – 6:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Lung Association of Canada.
