Uchikata, John David Atushi. 1945 - 2013
Avid golfer, tennis, bridge player and gardener.
Passed away peacefully at home on December 19th with Sharon, his loving wife of 26 years by his side, after a spirited year long challenge with cancer.
Beloved son of John Shinsuke and the late Dorothy Hanako. Son-in-law of Eric and Isobel Wallace, both deceased.
Lovingly remembered by his siblings, Jane (Paul), Beverly (Philip), Paul (Susan) and in-laws Carolyn (Joseph) and
Kevin (Marlene).
Will be sadly missed by his 12 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. Helen MacKay, Dr. Sandy Buckman, and Ms. Winsome Robinson, R.N. for their care and support.
Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.) Woodbridge, 905-851-9100 on Friday, December 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. A Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday December 28th, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ward Chapel.
