CONNOLLY, John - May 27, 1936 - October 12, 2011 It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Connolly on Wednesday, October 12, 2011. He died peacefully at home at the age of 75, surrounded by the love of his family, his loving wife Martha of 56 years and his loving son John and daughter Lorraine. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brothers and sisters in Scotland. John was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1936. He married Martha in 1955, had a family and immigrated to Canada in 1967. He started a career working for the Prudential Insurance Company. After a successful career, he retired, enjoying the fruits of his labour. A cremation and service will be held at the Riverside Crematorium on Monday, October 17 at 11 a.m.
