John Erison Bell

April 10, 1933 - March 16, 2018.

John Bell, 84, passed away peacefully at Bridgepoint Health Centre with family by his side. He was the devoted partner of Carol Gillies and loving father of Robert Bell and his late partner Karen. The son of the late Russell Bell and Isabell (Inman), John was predeceased by daughter Joanne, son Ricky, son Russell and brothers Bill, Earl and Malcolm and sister Muriel. He will be fondly remembered by Carol's children, John Paul, Rob and his wife Lora. He was a beloved uncle and cousin to many. John was a good man and a loyal friend. He was a proud veteran, serving in the Royal Canadian Navy. John was a 55-year member of Silverthorn Branch 57 and Mount Dennis Branch 31 and was awarded life membership for outstanding service to the Royal Canadian Legion. Flowers may be sent to Wards Funeral Home in Weston by noon on Wednesday, March 21 or memorial donations can be sent to Royal Canadian Legion Mount Dennis.
