Van Wissen, Johannes Cornelis:

Born June 30, 1935 in Wassenaar, The Netherlands. Son of Cornelis Van Wissen and Alida Vis. Brother of Ben, Frans, Agnes, Aly, Gerda, Ted, Corry and Emmy. Beloved husband of Hendrika Van Spijk. Father of John Jr. (Sylvie), Margaret, and Grace (Steven). Grandfather of Josee, Erik, Jake, Ellyssa, Matthew and Victoria. John Senior died peacefully on September 20, 2012. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, “Brampton Chapel” 52 Main Street South, (Hwy 10) Brampton on Sunday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 66A Main Street South, Brampton on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery. Reception at Holland Christian Homes. Donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
