Peacefully, stalwart, fully prepared , on Monday December 13, 2010, at Etobicoke General Hospital, Joanne was called home in her 68th year after a brief fatal illness. A graduate of Ryerson University, known for loyalty, honesty and her culinary and decorative skills, she was a great daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister. The Creator didn’t make one any better. She will be sorely missed by husband, Gene, daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah (Glen) Adams, Lisa (Jim) Dobson, granddaughter, Meghan, grandsons Cameron and Daniel, brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Margaret Ann), sister, Jane and many friends and acquaintances. Visitation will be held at Ward’s Funeral Home, 4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday December 16,2010 at the Woodbridge United Church (8090 Kipling Ave, Woodbridge) at 11a.m .Private interment. In Joanne’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
