Joan Wamsteeker

On Thursday, February 14 2019 in her 91st year, Joan left this earthly world to be with her Lord in Heaven and her beloved husband of 61 years, Jake who predeceased her on April 24, 2013.

She passed peacefully with her son Clare and granddaughter Caitlin by her side at the John Noble Home in Brantford, ON. Our thanks to all the staff on Davis Court at the home for their care of Mom over the last year.

Dear mother of three sons; Henk (Bev) of Summerland, B.C, Clare of Mt. Pleasant, ON, and Rob (Janette) of Burlington, ON. Loving grandmother of Tom (Amanda), Chris (Amanda), Erika, Erin (Jason), Becky (Chris), Jessica (Rob), Caitlin (Andrew), Emma, Kate (Ryan). Great grandmother of nine.

Jo was predeceased by her sister Lot and brother Wim. She leaves behind her family in Holland (Gerda), Adrie (Dick), Peter (Jeanne) and five sister-in-laws in Canada; Jackie, Gerda, Teresa, Ena and Tina.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”. A private family visitation and service will be held. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
