Joan Rutherford

Surrounded by her loving children, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joan, 87years, on November 6, 2011 following a lengthy illness.
Cherished mother of John (Leslie), Ken (Deanna), Sue-Marie Boynton (Peter), Paul (Susan) and Anne.
Grandmother to 11, great-grandmother of 8 (soon to be 9). Aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to all who knew her. Predeceased by her mother and father and her 9 siblings. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Wednesday from 7-9p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 10th at St. Judes R.C. Church, 3265 Weston Road. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

On November 6, 2011, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease, much beloved Mom, Joan 87, of Anne Rutherford, passed away. Predeceased by her parents John and Marie Levick and her siblings; Jack, Theresa Kerr, Dorothy, Norman, Gerald, Bill, Margaret O’Halloran, Marion Skidmore and Ruth Wignall.
Much beloved aunt of Stephen O’Halloran.
Thanks for all the good times Mom, and for instilling in me the morals, values and strength I possess today. I will always miss hearing you respond with “and I love you more than you will ever know” when I said to you “I love you bunches!” Rest in peace.
