Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 9th, 2012 at the age of 82. Joan, loving wife of William George of 36 years. She will be sadly missed by her children Judy, Larry (Linda), Brenda (Herb), and Diana. Proud Nanny to 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her dear cat Sparkey. Joan will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Edith Hegan.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, August 16th, 2012 from 1 pm until service time in the Chapel at 2pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
