Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at home surrounded by her three girls Leslie, Wendy and Nancy. She left us the way she lived her life with dignity and grace. Pre deceased by her loving husband Tom Hopkins. Jill was loved and admired by her sons in law Robert Grdic, Boyd Hale and Rob McConnell. Gran will be greatly missed by her “perfect” grandchildren Tara, Linley, Andrew, Stephen, and Hop. Jill had many amazing friends and extended family who will miss her positive energy and can-do spirit.
Jill and Tom are back together on the dance floor.
Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Sunday, January 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 18th at Christ Church Anglican, 4 Elizabeth Street North at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Camp Oochigeas would be appreciated.
