Jeannette Mary Pitcher (née Dinsdale), aged 88, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Born on December 13, 1937, in Hull, England, she lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to her family, career, and passions.

Jeannette enjoyed a lengthy and fulfilling career as an insurance agent. Her work was more than just a profession; it was a calling that allowed her to assist clients during challenging times. Her commitment to helping others and her passion for her work left a lasting impression on those she served.

Jeannette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reece. She is lovingly remembered by her children: daughters Kim, Kelly, and Susan (Ralph), and son Mark (Sandra). She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Nicole (Byron), Christine (Tyler), and Matthew (Sarah), who will forever hold dear the memories of their grandmother’s love and warmth.

Beyond her professional life, Jeannette found immense joy in her creative pursuits. She was an avid painter and knitter whose artistic talents brought beauty into the lives of those around her.
