Jean passed away comfortably at her residence with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. Her's was a life of devotion to and from her entire family. Jean was predeceased by her doting husband of 58 years, Hugh.
She was a most loving mother to Eugene and his wife Pat, Richard and his wife Carol as well as her daughter Marlene and ex-husband Geoff.
Jean, or Nana, will be forever, adoringly remembered by her grandchildren, Adam, Dana, Natasha, Lisa, Julia and recently her first great grandson, Richard (Hich).
She will always be remembered by all who met her even briefly for her kindness and gentle caring character.
Jean will also be missed by her friends at The Teddington for knowing every lyric, of every song, at the sing-a-longs and for being the uncontested Crossword Queen.
Jean was one of the only two surviving Lairds of her generation.
