Janet Denquah Buabeng

Passed away suddenly on Monday, June 8, 2026, in her 64th year. Proud mother of Gloria and cherished grandmother of Brandy. Janet will be sadly missed by her many family and friends.

Janet was born in the town of Bechem, Ghana, to loving parents Afia Pomaa (Eno Afia Manu) and Samuel Akwasi Antwi (Akwasi Adda). 

Janet will be fondly remembered for her warm and caring nature, her love of music, cooking, family gatherings, and the simple joys of life. She found happiness in sharing laughter and creating special memories with those she loved. Her family was her world, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with Gloria and Brandy.

Janet’s faith gave her hope and the strength to conquer many of life’s hardships. Her unwavering love, kindness, and strength will remain an inspiration to all who knew her.

She will be forever loved and always remembered.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Saturday August 22nd, 2026 from 10 a.m. till service time at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Glenview Cemetery 7541 Hwy 50, Woodbridge (Just south of Hwy 7).
