Jane "Giovanna" Micallef

Jane “Giovanna” Micallef passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, at the age of 95. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Louis Micallef.

Jane was a cherished and devoted mother to Frank (Joyce), Marlene (Tony), and Doreen (Jerry). She was the proud Nanna of Michelle (Filippo), Mark (Kristina), and Andrew (Diana), and the loving Buz Nanna to her great-grandchildren Christian, Ava, Sienna, and Leo.

She is also reunited with her dear siblings Salvu (Rose), Marie (Carmenu), and Tonina, and is survived by her brother-in-law Don.

Jane will be fondly remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and her caring, loving, and generous nature. She was so full of life and was simply “the best” to those who knew and loved her. Jane enjoyed going out to restaurants, playing bingo, and trying her luck at the casino—activities that perfectly matched her lively spirit.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge), on Friday, February 6th, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a Funeral Service will follow in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m.. The Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
