James Mercer

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 77 years of age. He will be lovingly remembered by his beautiful wife of 48 years –Donna. He will remain in the hearts of his children Larry and Sari Rosseau, Steve and Elaine Mercer and Terri and Russell Mabee and adored by his grandchildren Tori, William, Gemma, Erika, Lauren, Larissa and Greysen James. He will be greatly missed by his siblings and their extended families. He will remain a friend with his associates in the Royal Canadian Legion and Firefighters Association. A special thanks to Bernie for the many special walks and smiles. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday June 16, 2015 7-9 and Wednesday June 17 2-4 and 7-9. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday June 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. Burial at Glendale Memorial Gardens to follow.
