Born In Oakville ON, lived in Burlington through his childhood/teens years, followed by Kelowna, Halifax, and most recently Toronto. A tragic, senseless accident tore Adam away from a large community of family, friends and colleagues. Adam has left a hole in the hearts of parents Brenda and Andrew, sister Alison (and Brandon) nephew Logan, brother Will, Grandparents (pre-deceased) Reg and Betty Hodgson and Ron and Dorinda Excell; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, countless friends and co-workers and girlfriend Allison MacNeil. An honours graduate of M.M. Robinson High School and Mohawk College. Adam was an avid outdoorsman who actively pursued his loves of running, cycling, snowboarding, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, rock climbing, photography, art, espresso-making, camping, and travelling. An employee of Mountain Co-op Equipment for 5 years, and recently Patagonia, his "dream job”, from March this year to present. Adam made and kept friends with an easy going and soft spoken nature. He was polite, sincere, patient, and considerate to all. Health conscious of body and earth, Adam lived in a simple way, always wanting to minimize his footprint on the planet. Adam made the most of life and wasted no time with one eye always on his next great adventure. Many shattered, broken hearts remain to remember and celebrate a short life that was an example for us all.
