Jack Wing

Passed away peacefully in his 99th year at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Loving husband of Lilian, married 73 years. Beloved father of Teresa Pugsley. Will be missed by son-in-law Tom Pugsley, grandchildren Kate and Robert, and great-grandchildren Madeleine and Vanessa. Loving brother to Nancy Byrne and loved by niece, Jane McDowell in England. Jack and Lilian lived in Oakville, Ontario for the last 8 years leaving Farnham, Surrey, England where Jack was born September 1, 1912. Jack served with the RAF in World War II. Chartered surveyor and partner with Messenger May Baverstock, Farnham. An avid golfer and former cricket and tennis player.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 16th, 5:00pm at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the new Oakville Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
